DeepBook has launched as the inaugural Central Limit Order Book (CLOB) protocol native to the SUI blockchain, positioning itself as the liquidity backbone for Sui’s decentralized finance ecosystem. The open-source project operates as a shared on-chain order book, offering developers a modular trading engine with support for limit, market, and stop orders.

Leveraging Sui’s parallel execution capabilities, DeepBook creates isolated liquidity pools for each trading pair. This architecture enables near-instant execution with minimal latency while maintaining ultra-low transaction costs. The protocol aims to solve liquidity fragmentation issues prevalent in traditional automated market maker models.
